Those are a few of the many things that Youth in Action wants to promote. We feel that if you want to work towards change, you need to start small and then go BIG. We believe that visions and dreams need to be put into action, if we ever want to see a difference, if we want to see change.
This year we are going to plan a run called "Run Around the Globe" for which we hope to earn $20 000. The run will not only raise money for local education programs run by our charity Free the Children but we hope it will inspire students, teachers and the community that "change" can really happen, get them involved and come together for a great cause. The youth are incharge of the future and we need to start shapping it the way we want to see it.
We have enetered the Pepsi Refresh Contest to get a grant for $5000 which will help us assemble and "run" our Run.

Yay! We did it, we got accepted and are now eligible to start voting. Here are some easy steps, show your spirit and support your school!
